Corda boa 9,8 mm 40 m — corda de escalada/utilização com 9,8 mm de diâmetro, 40 m de comprimento

Rope boa 9.8mm 40m — a 9.8 mm diameter, 40-metre rope designed for climbing, rescue, arborist tasks and general utility work. The construction provides a compact profile with balanced handling and sufficient strength for belaying, rappelling and rope access operations when used with compatible harnesses, connectors and personal protective equipment. The rope’s diameter and length make it suitable for confined-route maneuvers and multi-pitch applications where a combination of manageability and tensile performance is required.

Advantages

The rope offers a thin, consistent diameter that improves friction control on belay and rappel devices while remaining comfortable to handle. Its 40 m length is convenient for a wide range of single-rope tasks, minimizing excess weight and storage volume. The construction yields predictable handling characteristics, aiding in knot performance and reduce rope drag during work. When combined with appropriate connectors and PPE, the rope supports safe, controlled descent and ascent techniques.

How to use

Inspect the rope for damage, cuts, heat signs or excessive abrasion before each use. Use appropriate knots and follow manufacturer guidelines for your belay, rappel or rescue systems. Thread the rope correctly through devices, ensure locking carabiners are secured and perform a function test before loading. Avoid sharp edges, chemical exposure and prolonged direct sunlight; store the rope dry and clean when not in use. Replace the rope according to wear, manufacturer service-life recommendations and after significant shock loads.

Recommendations

For safe operation, pair the rope with compatible harnesses and certified connectors, follow local safety standards and training, and conduct regular inspections. Use dynamic techniques and energy-absorbing systems for personal protection where required, and retire the rope when signs of core damage or severe abrasion are present.
