Ekivalan Cabo de rede OM5 duplex de fibra ótica LC/SC, 50/125 µm, verde lima, 20 m COZOM5DCLC2SL0200A

Data center technicians and network engineers can deploy this Ekivalan OM5 duplex patch cable to link LC and SC ports over 20 meters with low insertion loss. The lime green jacket provides quick identification for high-performance multimode links supporting 40G and 100G Ethernet.

Key specifications

• Fibre type: OM5 multimode, 50/125 µm core/cladding
• Connectors: LC duplex to SC duplex
• Length: 20 m
• Jacket material: LSZH (low smoke zero halogen)
• Cable diameter: 3.0 mm
• Insertion loss: ≤ 0.3 dB
• Return loss: ≥ 30 dB
• Wavelengths: 850 nm, 953 nm
• Bandwidth: 4700 MHz·km at 850 nm, 2470 MHz·km at 953 nm
• Operating temperature: -20 °C to 70 °C

Why choose it

The OM5 fibre supports short wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM4), allowing four wavelengths over a single pair of fibres. This reduces cabling infrastructure for 40G and 100G applications. The LSZH jacket emits low smoke and zero halogen, making it suitable for enclosed spaces with strict fire safety requirements.

Ideal use cases

• Data centre interconnects between switches and patch panels
• High-density fibre distribution in enterprise networks
• Upgrading existing OM3/OM4 links to support higher speeds

Good to know

The duplex design provides two fibres in a single cable for bidirectional communication. The lime green colour follows industry convention for OM5, simplifying port identification and maintenance.
