Eltako Regulador de intensidade de encastrar 21100905 — Cinzento, controlo por botão, encastrável

Eltako Mountable Dimmer 21100905 is a compact, mountable phase dimmer in a grey housing designed for ceiling or electrical cabinet installation. It accepts a DALI control input and converts DALI dimming levels into a corresponding phase-cut voltage signal (leading or trailing edge) to control 230 V LED retrofit luminaires and other compatible loads. The device is addressable on the DALI bus, includes double terminals for easy DALI looping, and supports configuration via DALI Cockpit PC software.

Advantages

The unit offers a wide dimming range from 0.1% to 100% and an adjustable minimum dimming level via DALI, enabling fine control of LED brightness. It supports both leading- and trailing-edge phase cutting depending on connected load, has high efficiency, and a flexible operating mode that can act either as a phase dimmer (DT4) or, from Firmware 3.5, as a switch (DT7). Power is supplied from the DALI bus and the device is addressable, simplifying integration into existing DALI installations.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This phase dimmer is not suitable for devices that require specific manufacturer drivers or non-phase-dimmable fixtures. It relies on phase-cut control and so compatibility with certain LED drivers, low-voltage transformers or non-dimmable lamps cannot be guaranteed. Also note that supply is from the DALI bus, so some SYSTEM FAILURE LEVEL behaviors are only partially supported depending on firmware and model.

Key specifications

How to use

Install the dimmer into a suitable ceiling void or electrical enclosure following applicable electrical regulations. Connect the DALI bus to the double DALI terminals for easy looping and connect the load to the output. Configure addressing and parameters (such as MIN LEVEL and operating mode) using DALI Cockpit PC software. The device will convert received DALI levels into a phase-cut voltage; depending on load characteristics the unit will operate with leading or trailing edge control. From Firmware 3.5 the operating mode can be switched to act as a DALI DT7 switch if required.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

For reliable operation, test dimming behaviour with the intended LED drivers before final installation and configure MIN LEVEL and operating mode via DALI Cockpit to match your luminaires. When using the DT7 switch mode, review switching thresholds and fade settings to avoid unintended switching during transitional dimming levels.
