Enhancer para guitarra acústica TC Electronic BodyRez (modelo 000-DD101-00010)

TC Electronic BodyRez is an acoustic guitar enhancer designed to improve the instrument’s natural body resonance and tonal balance. The unit processes the guitar’s signal to reinforce low-mid frequencies and sustain, producing a fuller acoustic sound that sits well in live mixes and recordings. BodyRez is intended for use with acoustic-electric guitars and stage rigs where an enhanced body response is required without altering the instrument’s core voice.

Advantages

BodyRez enhances the low-mid range and sustain while preserving the guitar’s original tonal character. It operates transparently to avoid artificial coloration and integrates with existing preamps or DI boxes. The device enables easier blending of acoustic guitar in a band mix and reduces the need for extensive EQ adjustments at the mixing desk. Its design focuses on practical improvement of body response suitable for both live performance and studio capture.

Suitable for

• Acoustic-electric guitars used in live performance
• Recording sessions where a fuller acoustic body tone is desired
• Stage setups with DI boxes and acoustic preamps
• Situations requiring enhanced sustain and low-mid reinforcement

Key specifications

• Function: acoustic body resonance enhancement and low-mid reinforcement
• Application: inline signal processing for acoustic-electric guitars
• Effect: improved sustain and fuller acoustic tone without heavy coloration
• Connectivity: designed to operate with standard instrument-level outputs and stage preamps (inline)
• Form factor: compact unit suitable for pedalboards and rack integration

How to use

Place BodyRez inline between the acoustic-electric guitar and the stage preamp, DI box, or amplifier input. Adjust the device controls to taste to increase low-mid presence and sustain while monitoring through the FOH or recording chain. Make subtle adjustments to avoid overwhelming the natural top-end clarity of the instrument. When used in a recording environment, set levels conservatively and track signal changes to match the desired acoustic character.

Recommendations

Use BodyRez sparingly to retain the instrument’s natural brightness; combine with a quality preamp or DI for best results. For live mixes, apply modest enhancement and check the result through the PA to ensure balanced integration with other instruments.
