Interruptor de luz Homematic IP 159881A0 — antracite, controlo por botões, Pilha (AAA), IP20, 86×86×19 mm

The Homematic IP 159881A0 is a battery-powered wall-mounted light switch in anthracite with two-button control. Designed for indoor smart-home installations, this compact wireless switch measures 86 × 86 × 19 mm and is powered by a single AAA (1.5 V) battery. With an IP20 protection rating, it is intended for dry indoor environments and enables remote control of lighting and other Homematic IP-compatible functions without a direct wired connection.

Advantages

The two-button design provides simple, direct control of multiple functions in a Homematic IP system while remaining unobtrusive on the wall. Battery operation using easily obtainable AAA cells enables flexible placement without the need for wiring. The switch supports several mounting options—adhesive or screw mounting in the supplied interchangeable frame, integration into Size 55 frames of common manufacturers, or attachment to a flush-mounted box—so it can be adapted to different installation situations. Because it operates within the Homematic IP ecosystem, it continues to provide local control even if the internet connection is interrupted.

Suitable for

• Wall-mounted control of lighting in indoor rooms
• Quick activation of preconfigured scenes (for example: leaving-home or arriving-home functions)
• Retrofit installations where wiring for a conventional switch is not available
• Placement in entrance areas, corridors, or next to doors for central control

How to use

Insert a charged AAA (1.5 V) battery according to the polarity markings, register the device in the Homematic IP app or central control unit following the manufacturer's pairing procedure, and assign functions or scenes to each of the two buttons. Mount the switch in the chosen location using the supplied interchangeable frame and mounting material, or integrate it into a compatible Size 55 frame or flush-mounted box. Once configured, press the buttons to trigger assigned lights, scenes, or system functions; local control remains available even when external network services are unavailable.

Recommendations

Place the switch in dry indoor locations only and replace batteries with standard AAA cells before capacity is depleted to ensure reliable operation. For frequent use, consider integrating the device into a desktop stand or using a compatible power supply accessory where supported to extend service life. Configure clear, distinct functions for the two buttons in the Homematic IP app to avoid accidental commands.
