Escopro para tijolo DeWALT DT6825-QZ

The DeWALT DT6825-QZ masonry chisel is a single-piece hand tool designed for controlled material removal and precise trimming on masonry surfaces. It features an 80 mm flat cutting edge and a total length of 300 mm, offering a balance of reach and maneuverability for a variety of on-site tasks. The chisel is sold individually and intended for use with manual striking or in combination with compatible hand tools for demolition, shaping and scoring of brick, concrete and stone.

Advantages

This masonry chisel delivers a wide, flat cutting edge that enables consistent, even strikes across masonry joints and surfaces. The 300 mm overall length provides improved leverage and reach compared with shorter chisels while remaining compact enough for precise work. Constructed to meet DeWALT tooling standards, the chisel is suitable for repeated impact use and for controlled material removal without excessive chipping when used correctly.

How to use

Position the flat cutting edge against the masonry surface at the desired angle and strike the chisel head with a suitable hammer or mallet. Use controlled, moderate strikes to remove material progressively and avoid applying excessive force that can cause unwanted fracturing. For repointing or detailed trimming, work from the edges toward the center and make multiple light passes rather than attempting deep cuts in a single blow. Maintain a secure grip on the chisel and ensure the workpiece is stable before each strike.

Recommendations

Wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as safety glasses, gloves and hearing protection when striking the chisel. Inspect the chisel for damage or mushrooming at the head before use and dress any deformations. Store the chisel in dry conditions and keep the cutting edge protected to preserve its profile.
