Escova de vedação DeLOCK 66651 40 mm perfil de alumínio reto 1 m

The DeLOCK brush strip 66651 is a straight sealing profile with a 40 mm brush height and a 1 m aluminium retaining profile. Made of aluminium and plastic bristles, it is designed to seal gaps at doors, windows, gates and roller shutter boxes to reduce dust ingress and draughts while maintaining a discreet appearance.

Advantages

The aluminium profile provides stable support and can be shortened to the required length with a metal saw. Flexible brush filaments prevent dirt and dust from entering and reduce air flow through gaps. Installation can be performed with screws, mounting adhesive or double-sided tape according to the mounting surface.

Suitable for

• Sealing gaps at exterior and interior doors
• Weatherproofing window edges
• Sealing roller shutter boxes
• Filling gaps on gates and utility doors

How to use

Measure the gap to be sealed and mark the required length on the aluminium profile. Cut the profile to size with a metal saw, deburr cut edges if needed, then align the strip along the gap. Fix the profile in place using screws, a suitable mounting adhesive or strong double-sided tape depending on the surface. Ensure the brush filaments make contact with the moving part (door or shutter) to create an effective seal without obstructing movement.

Recommendations

For best results, choose the fixing method that matches the installation surface: screws for durable wooden or metal frames, strong adhesive or double-sided tape for finished surfaces. Periodically inspect and clean the bristles to maintain sealing performance; replace the strip if bristles are excessively worn or the aluminium profile is damaged.
