Etiqueta de código de barras horizontal ASTAR LTO8 LTO8000099 — etiquetas de código de barras horizontais para bandas LTO-8

ASTAR LTO8 Horizontal Barcode Label LTO8000099 are adhesive horizontal barcode labels made for LTO-8 data storage cartridges. These pre-cut labels fit the specified label area on LTO-8 tapes and provide a consistent, scannable barcode surface to support inventory control, automated tape library systems and manual tracking. The material and adhesive are selected for reliable adhesion to cartridge plastic while maintaining barcode contrast for optical scanners.

Advantages

These horizontal barcode labels deliver uniform alignment and sizing for consistent scan performance. The pre-cut format reduces application time and ensures repeatable placement across multiple cartridges. The adhesive backing is formulated to adhere securely to tape cartridge shells while allowing clean application without bubbling. The label face produces high-contrast barcodes compatible with common barcode readers used in data centres and tape libraries.

Suitable for

• Inventory tracking of LTO-8 data cartridges
• Integration with automated tape library and robotics systems
• Backup and archiving operations in data centres
• Asset management and cataloguing of tape media

Key specifications

• Label orientation: horizontal, designed to fit LTO-8 cartridge label area
• Format: pre-cut adhesive labels for individual application
• Material: printable, high-contrast label face suitable for barcode printing and scanning
• Adhesive: permanent adhesive formulated for plastic cartridge surfaces
• Compatibility: intended for use with LTO-8 tape cartridges and standard barcode readers used in tape libraries

How to use

Clean the cartridge label area to remove dust, oil or residue and allow it to dry. Peel a single pre-cut label from its backing and align it horizontally with the cartridge's designated label zone. Apply the label starting from one edge and press firmly across the surface to avoid air pockets. Ensure the barcode is printed or applied centrally on the label face and allow any printing ink to dry fully before placing cartridges back into library systems or storage racks.

Recommendations

Use labels in controlled environments to avoid contamination during application. For reliable long-term identification, store cartridges at recommended temperature and humidity ranges and verify barcode readability after application. Test a sample label with your barcode scanner and printer settings before large-scale application.
