Ferramenta de descarnar coaxial ShiverPeaks BS85000-5 — design compacto, punho ergonómico

The ShiverPeaks BS85000-5 coaxial stripping tool is a handheld instrument engineered for accurate removal of outer jacket, dielectric and conductor insulation on coaxial cables. Its compact design and ergonomic handle provide comfort during repeated use, while precision blades ensure consistent strip lengths for reliable connector terminations. The tool is intended for field technicians and installers needing a portable, single-handed solution for preparing coaxial cable ends prior to crimping or soldering.

Advantages

The compact housing reduces hand fatigue and enables access in confined spaces near junctions and panels. Ergonomic contours and a non-slip grip improve control during stripping operations. Adjustable blade depth and precise cutting edges deliver repeatable strip quality across common coaxial cable types. The tool’s durable construction supports frequent on-site use and minimizes maintenance downtime.

Suitable for

• Preparing coaxial cables for connector installation and termination
• Field service and maintenance by technicians and installers
• Work in telecom, satellite, CCTV and broadband cable projects
• On-site repair and refurbishment of coaxial cable assemblies

Key specifications

• Handheld, compact form factor for single-handed operation
• Ergonomic handle with non-slip surface for improved grip
• Adjustable blade depth for precise outer jacket and dielectric removal
• Precision cutting edges suitable for standard coaxial cable diameters
• Durable construction designed for frequent field use

How to use

Align the cable in the tool’s guide according to the required strip lengths, then close the tool around the cable and rotate or actuate as indicated to score and remove the outer jacket, dielectric and conductor insulation in sequence. Verify strip lengths visually or with a template before proceeding to connector assembly. Make incremental adjustments to blade depth if necessary to avoid nicking the conductor. Clean any debris from the blades after use to maintain consistent performance.

Recommendations

Use the tool with compatible coaxial cable types and follow connector manufacturer instructions for strip lengths. Inspect blades regularly and replace or service them if cuts become inconsistent. Store the tool in a dry environment and avoid exposure to corrosive substances to preserve blade life and handle integrity.
