Ferramenta de descarnar Knipex ErgoStrip PV 16 95 03 para cabos PV, batente ajustável, punho ergonómico

Knipex ErgoStrip PV 16 95 03 is a manual stripping tool designed specifically for photovoltaic (PV) cable preparation. The tool offers controlled insulation removal for PV cables with an adjustable stop that sets a consistent stripping length. Ergonomic handles and a compact design enable comfortable repeated use during panel installation and maintenance tasks.

Advantages

The adjustable stop ensures repeatable strip lengths, reducing rework and speeding up throughput on repetitive wiring tasks. Precision blades remove insulation cleanly while minimising the risk of conductor nicking. The ergonomic handle shape reduces hand fatigue during extended use and provides reliable grip even in workshop or outdoor conditions. The compact, manually operated design requires no power source and is suitable for installation sites where mobility and simplicity are important.

Suitable for

• Stripping insulation from PV cables used in solar panel installations
• On-site electrical wiring and photovoltaic system maintenance
• Preparatory work for crimping or connector assembly on PV conductors
• Electrical contractors and technicians working with solar arrays

Key specifications

• Tool type: manual cable stripper for photovoltaic cables
• Adjustable stop for consistent strip length
• Ergonomic handle for reduced hand strain
• Precision stripping blades designed to avoid conductor damage
• Compact, hand-held construction for portability

How to use

Position the PV cable in the stripping jaws and set the adjustable stop to the required strip length. Close the handles firmly to engage the blades and rotate or withdraw the tool according to the marking or cable type to remove the insulation. Verify that the conductor is undamaged and that the exposed length matches the connector or crimp specification before proceeding with termination. Clean and inspect the blades periodically and store the tool in a dry place when not in use.

Recommendations

Use the adjustable stop to standardise strip lengths across multiple cables. Confirm compatibility with the specific PV cable type before bulk use, and handle the tool with care to maintain blade sharpness and precise insulation removal.
