Ficha coaxial tipo F ShiverPeaks BS85030-A

The ShiverPeaks BS85030-A is an F-type male coaxial connector engineered for reliable RF signal transmission in television and satellite systems. With a 7.2 mm outer diameter and a compact, single-piece design, this connector provides a stable electrical and mechanical connection to standard coaxial cables. It is supplied individually, allowing easy replacement or use in custom cable assemblies where a single high-quality F-type terminal is required.

Advantages

This F-type connector offers consistent impedance matching and low signal loss for improved picture and sound quality. The robust male plug design ensures a secure mechanical fit and resistance to accidental disconnection. Its metal construction provides good durability and shielding against electromagnetic interference, while the standardized dimensions make it compatible with common wall outlets, splitters and equipment found in home and professional installations.

Suitable for

• Connecting television set-top boxes, digital tuners and TVs
• Satellite dish cable terminations and LNB connections
• Patch cables and in-line repairs of coaxial runs
• Use in home entertainment, CCTV and cable distribution systems

Key specifications

• Connector type: F-type, male
• Outer diameter: 7.2 mm
• Compatibility: standard 75 Ω coaxial cables
• Quantity: sold individually
• Material: metal body with conductive plating (typical for F-type connectors)

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the appropriate lengths for the centre conductor, dielectric and outer braid according to the connector's insertion requirements. Insert the prepared cable into the connector until the dielectric seats and the centre conductor protrudes through the pin. Secure the connector by crimping, screwing or compressing as appropriate for the connector style and the installation practice you follow. Once attached, hand-tighten the connector onto the mating jack, then use a torque wrench if available to the recommended torque for F-type fittings to avoid over-tightening.

Recommendations

For best signal quality, use this F-type connector with properly measured 75 Ω coaxial cable and follow industry-standard cable preparation and termination techniques. Inspect the centre conductor and dielectric for damage before installation and avoid excessive bending near the termination to maintain impedance and signal integrity.
