The AS Schwabe 70558 power plug with a 5 m H07RN-F cable is a durable mains connector designed for supplying portable electrical equipment and power tools at 230 V, 16 A. The assembly combines a robust rubber-sheathed flexible cable with a weather-resistant plug body intended for demanding environments, offering a 5 metre lead to extend reach without compromising safety or conductivity.

Advantages

The rubber-insulated H07RN-F cable provides flexibility and mechanical resilience, reducing the risk of abrasion and damage in workshop and outdoor conditions. The plug housing is constructed to withstand impacts and exposure to dirt and moisture in typical jobsite or garden use. Rated for 230 V and 16 A, the unit supports common portable appliances and most hand-held power tools while maintaining stable electrical contact under continuous use.

How to use

Before connecting, inspect the cable and plug for visible damage and ensure the supply is compatible with 230 V, 16 A ratings. Insert the plug fully into a compatible socket and secure any locking ring if present. Route the 5 m cable to avoid sharp edges, pinch points and high traffic areas; protect the cable from heat sources and chemicals. After use, disconnect from the power supply by pulling the plug body rather than the cable and store the cable coiled without tight bends.

Recommendations

Use the AS Schwabe 70558 power plug for temporary or portable connections and avoid permanent fixed installations. For prolonged outdoor use, minimize exposure to standing water and inspect connections regularly for wear. If the cable jacket or plug housing is compromised, replace the entire lead rather than attempting repairs that may impair safety.
