Fita adesiva de dupla face Tesa 4964 12 mm x 50 m — suporte têxtil resistente ao rasgo

Tesa 4964 is a double-sided tape 12 mm wide and 50 m long with a tear-resistant fabric carrier designed for reliable bonding of textiles, carpets, trims and general mounting tasks. The tape combines a cloth-based backing with an acrylic adhesive to provide durable adhesion on a variety of indoor surfaces while remaining flexible for easy handling and precise positioning. Its narrow width and long roll length make it suitable for repeated repair and finishing work where a slim, strong joining solution is required.

Advantages

The cloth carrier improves tear-resistance and conformity to uneven surfaces, reducing the risk of tearing during application. The acrylic adhesive offers good initial tack and long-term holding power on fabrics, wood, painted surfaces and many plastics. The flexible backing allows the tape to follow contours and corners while maintaining bond strength, and the long 50 m roll reduces the need for frequent replacements on job sites or in workshops.

Suitable for

• Bonding textile trims, hems and ribbons
• Securing carpets, runners and floor coverings for temporary fixes
• Mounting lightweight interior trims and profiles
• General indoor repairs and finishing tasks

Key specifications

• Tape width: 12 mm
• Roll length: 50 m
• Carrier type: tear-resistant fabric (cloth)
• Adhesive type: acrylic adhesive suitable for indoor use
• Backing flexibility: high, conforms to contours and edges

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, oil or loose particles before application. Measure and cut the required length of tape, peel off one side of the protective liner and apply the tape firmly to the first surface, smoothing out any wrinkles. Remove the remaining liner, align the second surface and press both surfaces together evenly, applying firm pressure along the bond line to activate the adhesive. For best results, allow bonded materials to rest for several hours before placing under load.

Recommendations

Use the tape on interior surfaces and avoid continuous exposure to high humidity or outdoor weathering. Test adhesion on an inconspicuous area when applying to sensitive or coated surfaces. For high-tension or structural applications, use mechanical fasteners or specialized adhesives.
