Fita adesiva de transferência Tesa tesafix 4900, transparente, 33 m x 12 mm, acrílico, resistência à temperatura 200 °C

Tesa tesafix 4900 Transfer Adhesive Tape is a transparent acrylic transfer tape designed for indoor fastening tasks where an ultra-thin, nearly invisible adhesive layer is required. The product comes as a 33 m roll with a 12 mm width and a 0.05 mm adhesive thickness. It offers temperature resistance up to 200 °C and is suitable for applications that demand a discreet bond without adding bulk.

Advantages

The acrylic adhesive provides reliable initial tack and long-term adhesion on many substrates while remaining transparent. Its 0.05 mm thickness ensures a minimal visible profile and enables bonding in applications where space is limited or where aesthetics matter. The roll format (33 m) and standard 12 mm width make it convenient for repetitive indoor fastening tasks and for use with small dispensers or manual application methods.

Suitable for

• Indoor bonding of trim, nameplates, and decorative elements where a thin, invisible joint is required
• Securing lightweight components in electronics housings and plastic parts
• Mounting thin foils, overlays, and labels when transparency is desired
• General-purpose mounting on clean, dry and smooth surfaces such as metal, glass, and certain plastics

When it may not be suitable

This transfer adhesive tape is not intended for structural load-bearing joints or heavy-duty outdoor applications. It has been formulated for indoor fastening and may not provide reliable long-term performance on heavily textured, contaminated or low-energy surfaces without prior surface treatment.

Key specifications

• Adhesive type: Acrylic
• Colour: Transparent
• Roll length: 33 m
• Width: 12 mm
• Adhesive thickness: 0.05 mm
• Temperature resistance: up to 200 °C
• Packaging quantity: 1 piece

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust, grease or release agents before applying the tape. Cut the required length from the roll, remove any liner if present, and press the tape firmly onto one surface. For best results, apply consistent pressure across the bonded area to activate the adhesive and improve contact. Join the second surface and apply final pressure. Allow any stress-free time recommended by the substrate manufacturer before loading the bond.

What to consider before purchase

• Intended use: designed for indoor, non-structural fastening applications
• Surface compatibility: performs best on clean, smooth and dry substrates such as metal, glass and some plastics
• Temperature exposure: rated for short-term or service temperatures up to 200 °C
• Thickness and visibility: 0.05 mm adhesive layer yields a nearly invisible bond

Recommendations

For consistent results, store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Test adhesion on a small area when bonding unfamiliar substrates or plastics with low surface energy. Use firm pressure during application and allow the bond to stabilise before placing loads or performing further processing.
