Fita TESA 4651 38 mm x 50 m

Tesa 4651 38 mm x 50 m is a blue crepe masking tape designed for precise masking and temporary adhesion tasks. The tape combines reliable holding power with clean removal to support painting, finishing and general purpose masking where sharp paint lines and residue-free peel-off are required. With a 38 mm width and 50 m roll length, this tape is sized for hand application and small- to medium-scale projects.

Advantages

The tape provides consistent adhesion to a variety of surfaces while being formulated for easy removal without leaving adhesive residue. Its blue color improves visibility against painted surfaces and helps when aligning edges. The crepe backing allows controlled tearing by hand and conforms moderately to curved surfaces, enabling neat masking along contours. The product balances tack and removability for both short-term and medium-term painting jobs.

Suitable for

• Interior and exterior painting where clean paint lines are required
• Masking trim, moldings and window frames during finishing
• Crafting, DIY projects and model making
• Temporary bundling, labeling or holding tasks in workshops

Key specifications

• Color: blue
• Width: 38 mm
• Length: 50 m
• Backing material: crepe paper
• Adhesive type: removable adhesive formulated for clean peel-off
• Suitable surfaces: painted surfaces, wood, glass, metal and some plastics

How to use

Ensure surfaces are clean, dry and free from dust or grease before application. Unroll the tape and press it down firmly along the edge you wish to protect, smoothing with your finger to ensure full contact. For curves, tear by hand as needed and conform the tape to the shape while maintaining pressure. Remove the tape slowly and steadily at a low angle after the paint has dried to the touch or within the recommended time for the specific paint system to avoid lifting fresh coatings.

Recommendations

Store the roll in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and extreme temperatures to preserve adhesive performance. Test on an inconspicuous area before use on delicate or newly painted surfaces to confirm compatibility and removal time. For long-term outdoor exposure or delicate substrates, consider selecting a tape specifically rated for those conditions.
