Fonte de alimentação ALCATEL OS6560-BP-PH-EU 600W AC PoE

The ALCATEL OS6560-BP-PH-EU 600W AC PoE power supply is a replacement module designed for compatible Alcatel switches and network systems that require a dedicated 600W AC power source with Power over Ethernet capability. It provides up to 600 watts of AC power and integrates PoE support to supply power to connected PoE devices, enabling deployment continuity when the original unit is being serviced or replaced. The module is intended for direct installation into the designated power bay of supported chassis or standalone units and follows the manufacturer's form factor and electrical interfaces for straightforward fit and operation.

Advantages

This replacement power supply offers a high total output power level suitable for PoE-enabled network environments, reducing the need for external injectors. The unit is built to match Alcatel equipment specifications for secure mechanical and electrical compatibility, simplifying swap-in replacement during maintenance. With integrated PoE support, it centralizes power delivery and management for connected devices, helping maintain consistent network uptime and reducing cable clutter by combining data and power delivery over Ethernet cabling.

How to use

Power off or follow the vendor-approved hot-swap procedure for the target Alcatel device before removing an existing power module, unless the equipment supports live replacement. Slide the replacement module into the designated bay until it seats and the retention mechanism engages, then restore power and verify status indicators according to the host device documentation. Confirm that PoE provisioning and power budgets are configured correctly in the switch firmware or management interface to distribute power to connected PoE devices as required.

Recommendations

Install and maintain the power supply in environments that meet the host device’s ambient temperature and ventilation requirements. Verify power budgets and PoE class assignments in the switch management interface to avoid overloading. Use the unit as a like-for-like replacement and consult Alcatel technical documentation or certified service personnel when in doubt about compatibility or installation procedures.
