Protection

UVP (Under Voltage Protection)
If the voltages fall below a certain tolerance value on the single lines, the PSU automatically switches off.

OCP (Overcurrent Protection)
If the current on a single line is higher than indicated, the PSU automatically switches off.

SCP (Short-Circuit Protection)

How to use

Install the Cougar Polar 1050W into a compatible ATX chassis, securing it to the case mounting points. Connect the modular cables to the supply and route only the necessary connectors to motherboard, CPU, graphics cards, storage devices and peripherals. Ensure correct orientation and secure seating of each connector. After connecting all required power lines, verify fan operation and system POST before closing the case and powering the system under expected load.

Recommendations

Place the power supply in a case with adequate ventilation and clean air intake. Use high-quality modular cables and avoid tight bends near connectors. Periodically inspect ventilation paths and remove dust buildup to maintain cooling efficiency and long-term reliability.
