How to use

Place the freestanding SEVERIN DT 8770 on a level, stable surface with adequate clearance for ventilation as specified in the user manual and with the hinge side unobstructed for full door opening. After installation, allow the appliance to stand upright for the time recommended by the manufacturer before connecting to power. Set the thermostat to the desired temperature, load food items onto the glass shelves and into the vegetable drawer, and place frozen goods in the bottom freezer compartment. Use the interior LED light to check contents without keeping the door open for extended periods. Regularly defrost and clean the freezer compartment if model requires manual defrosting, and follow the care instructions in the manual to maintain performance.

Recommendations

For energy-efficient operation, avoid overfilling the refrigerator or blocking airflow around internal vents, keep door seals clean and close doors promptly, and position the appliance away from direct heat sources. Store raw meat on lower shelves and ready-to-eat items higher up to reduce cross-contamination risks. Refer to the manufacturer’s manual for temperature settings appropriate to your climate class (ST‑T) and for specific maintenance intervals.
