How to use

Disconnect the dash camera and vehicle power source before connecting the extension cable. Plug the cable between the dashcam connector and the original power/data lead or adapter, ensuring secure, fully seated connections. Route the cable along the vehicle’s interior trim, avoiding sharp edges and moving components. Reconnect power and test camera operation to confirm a stable connection and proper cable routing.

Recommendations

For a clean installation, route the cable behind panels and use cable clips or ties to secure it. Avoid routing close to heat sources or near airbags. Inspect connectors periodically for corrosion or damage and replace the cable if insulation is compromised.
