GraviTrax Power Elemento Light Ravensburger 8+

The GraviTrax Power Element Light by Ravensburger adds illuminated effects to GraviTrax marble runs, expanding creative possibilities and visual feedback during play. Intended for children aged 8 and older, this add-on integrates with existing GraviTrax systems to introduce lighted elements that activate as marbles pass through, creating a more engaging build-and-run experience while demonstrating cause-and-effect and basic physics concepts.

Advantages

The Power Element Light provides a compact, easy-to-install lighting module that snaps into GraviTrax tracks and activates via motion detection when a marble moves through. Its design maintains compatibility with standard GraviTrax components, enabling builders to combine it seamlessly with ramps, switches, and funnels. The light enhances visual clarity of track dynamics and supports repeated experimentation with different layouts without requiring complex setup.

Suitable for

• Hands-on STEM exploration and physics demonstrations
• Creative marble-run construction and custom layouts
• Group play, classroom activities, and individual problem-solving
• Enhancing visual effects in existing GraviTrax systems

Key specifications

• Compatibility: designed for use with Ravensburger GraviTrax track systems and components
• Activation: motion-triggered illumination when a marble passes
• Power source: battery-powered module for cordless placement
• Mounting: snap-fit integration with standard GraviTrax track elements
• Recommended age: suitable for users aged 8 and up

How to use

Place the Power Element Light into a compatible section of a GraviTrax layout according to the module’s snap-fit guides. Install fresh batteries into the module following the indicated polarity, then arrange surrounding track pieces so that marbles will pass through the element’s activation zone. Test the setup by releasing a marble and confirming the light activates; adjust track height or angle if needed to ensure reliable triggering. Combine with other GraviTrax pieces to explore different light-triggering sequences and timing effects.

Recommendations

For best results, check that battery contacts are clean and that the element is firmly seated in the track to avoid intermittent activation. Use in well-ventilated play areas and supervise younger users when replacing batteries. Store spare batteries separately and follow local disposal regulations for spent batteries.
