Guia de cabos Extralink EX.13827 azul amarelo fibra ótica 6mm

The Extralink EX.13827 Blue Yellow Fibreglass 6mm cable puller-feeder is a 50 m pilot rod system designed for pulling and feeding cables in telecommunications and electrical installations. The core is a 6 mm diameter FRP fiberglass rod covered with a yellow PE coating to protect the fiber and improve sliding. The rod is supplied on a powder-coated blue stand with a manual brake and an eyelet guide; the fiber finishes with a guiding head for attaching cable leads or fish tape.

Advantages

The combination of FRP fiberglass construction and a protective PE coating provides high elasticity, resistance to bending and tearing, and smooth sliding through conduits. The 50 m length on a specially designed rack enables practical storage, transport and controlled unwinding. The stand’s manual brake and eyelet guide offer improved handling and safe operation during cable feeding tasks, while the contrasting blue and yellow colours increase on-site visibility.

Suitable for

When it may not be suitable

This rod is intended for guiding and pulling cables through confined pathways and is not a substitute for powered winches or heavy-duty steel rods in high-tension or very long-span pulls. It is also not designed for direct mechanical excavation or use as a structural support.

Key specifications

How to use

Mount the fiberglass rod on the stand and release the manual brake to unwind the rod smoothly. Insert the guiding head into the conduit or duct and push the rod forward while keeping moderate, steady pressure; the PE coating reduces friction for easier feeding. Once the guiding head reaches the target, attach the cable to the guiding head following appropriate connection methods, then pull the rod back to draw the cable through. Use the brake to lock the drum during pauses or transport.

What to consider before purchase

Recommendations

Use steady, controlled pushes rather than abrupt force; inspect the guiding head and rod for damage before each use; store the rack in a dry place and secure the drum with the manual brake during transport.
