Guia de puxar cabos Extralink EX.13834 Azul Amarelo Fibra ótica 6mm

The Extralink EX.13834 Blue Yellow Fibreglass 6mm cable puller-feeder is a purpose-built tool for efficient cable installation in telecommunications and networking. It consists of a 6 mm diameter FRP (fibreglass) rod with a 100 m length mounted on a powder-coated blue stand for controlled unwinding. The fibreglass rod is covered with yellow PE plastic that protects the core, improves sliding through conduits and ducts, and increases visibility on site. The stand includes a manual brake to lock the drum and an integrated eyelet that guides the fibre during pulling; the fibreglass end is fitted with a guiding head for easy attachment to cables or fish tapes.

Advantages

The fibreglass construction combines high elasticity with resistance to bending and tearing, enabling the rod to navigate bends and tight spaces while maintaining shape. The yellow PE coating reduces friction and protects the rod from abrasion, while the blue powder-coated rack provides a durable frame for transport and storage. The manual brake allows precise control of unwinding speed, and the guiding head and eyelet simplify connection and directional guidance during installation.

How to use

Place the cable pulling pilot on a level surface and unlock the manual brake to allow the rod to unwind smoothly from the stand. Feed the guiding head through the conduit or duct by pushing the fibreglass rod, using controlled pressure to negotiate bends while avoiding sudden force. Attach the cable securely to the guiding head using appropriate connectors or tape, then pull the cable back through the duct while simultaneously retracting the rod. Use the manual brake to control the unwind and prevent overruns during feed and retrieval.

Recommendations

Inspect the rod and PE coating for visible damage before each use. Avoid sharp kinks and excessive lateral force that could compromise the fibreglass core. For long runs or complex routes, feed the rod in stages and use the brake to maintain tension; apply compatible lubricant if needed to further reduce friction. Store the unit on its rack in a dry place to protect the PE coating and the powder-coated finish.
