Hama 00205214 conector macho coaxial 1 unid.

The Hama 00205214 coaxial connector is a single female coaxial adapter with a 7 mm diameter and a white finish. It is made for audio and video cabling where a compact, reliable connection is required. The connector provides a simple way to join coaxial cables or adapt cable ends while maintaining stable signal transmission and minimizing interference.

Advantages

This coaxial connector delivers a consistent electrical contact and a snug mechanical fit for 7 mm coaxial cables. Its female construction supports standard coaxial plugging procedures and the white housing helps it blend with light-coloured installations. The connector is suitable for use in home AV systems, CCTV setups and other low-voltage RF signal paths where a compact inline adapter is needed.

Suitable for

• Connecting or extending coaxial audio/video cables
• Home entertainment systems (TV, set-top box, FM antennas)
• CCTV and surveillance coaxial runs
• Temporary or permanent in-wall and patch-panel connections

Key specifications

• Connector type: female coaxial
• Compatible cable diameter: 7 mm
• Pack type: single unit
• Colour: white
• Application: audio and video signal transmission

How to use

Strip the coaxial cable to the manufacturer-recommended lengths to expose the inner conductor and the outer braid. Insert the prepared cable end into the female coaxial connector until it seats fully and ensures a firm mechanical and electrical contact. Verify the connection by gently pulling on the cable and, if possible, test signal continuity and quality with the relevant AV equipment. Follow standard safety precautions and disconnect power from devices before making or changing connections.

Recommendations

Use this connector with intact, correctly prepared 7 mm coaxial cables and avoid excessive bending or strain near the connection point. For outdoor or exposed installations, combine the connector with suitable weatherproofing or use dedicated outdoor-rated connectors to maintain long-term signal integrity.
