Hama filtro UV 390 (O-Haze), 49,0 mm filtro de câmara ultravioleta (UV) 49 mm

The Hama UV Filter 390 O-Haze 49 mm is a colour-neutral ultraviolet filter for camera lenses that reduces atmospheric haze and protects the front element from scratches, dust and finger marks. It transmits visible light while blocking UV rays up to 390 nm to help produce clearer, sharper images in both colour and black-and-white photography.

Advantages

This 49 mm UV filter provides lens protection against physical damage and contamination without altering colour balance. It filters ultraviolet light and reduces haziness caused by atmospheric scattering, improving apparent sharpness and contrast in outdoor shots. The optical glass meets standard quality criteria for routine photography use.

Suitable for

• Outdoor landscape photography
• Travel and street photography
• Black-and-white film and digital photography
• Protecting lenses during everyday use and transport

Key specifications

• Filter type: Ultraviolet (UV) O-Haze
• Mount diameter: 49 mm
• Colour response: Neutral (no colour cast)
• UV cut-off wavelength: up to 390 nm
• Optical material: standard quality glass

How to use

Screw the filter onto the lens front thread (49 mm) until it is firmly seated but do not overtighten. Clean the filter surface with a microfiber cloth before and after use to remove dust and fingerprints. Leave the filter mounted when working in environments where the lens may be exposed to dust, moisture or accidental contact; remove it when using specialised filters or accessories that require direct lens communication.

Recommendations

For best results in hazy conditions, combine the UV filter with careful exposure and focusing. Store the filter in its case when not in use to avoid scratches and keep threads free of grit to ensure smooth mounting.
