Hanzsung 1U Network Appliance 1681 Core i5-8500 16GB RAM 256GB SSD 8x GLAN - PC embutido/Computador de placa única - Core i5

For network engineers who need rack-dense routing and security without the noise or cost of a full server, the HANZSUNG 1U Network Appliance 1681 packs a genuine Intel Core i5-8500 desktop processor into a shallow 1U chassis. Unlike fanless mini-PCs that throttle under sustained load, this unit keeps six Coffee Lake cores at up to 4.1 GHz while eight independent Gigabit LAN ports give you true multi-segment control for firewall, VPN, IDS/IPS, or edge-computing roles.

Highlights

• Intel Core i5-8500 (8th Gen Coffee Lake) – 6 cores / 6 threads, 3.0 GHz base, 4.1 GHz turbo
• 16 GB DDR4 RAM and 256 GB solid-state drive pre-installed
• 8x Gigabit Ethernet (RJ45) for LAN segmentation, WAN failover, or DMZ
• 1U rackmount form factor with front-facing ports and status LEDs
• Runs pfSense, OPNsense, Windows, Linux, and other x86 network operating systems
• Intel UHD Graphics 630 for local console or lightweight display output

In daily use

The 1681 excels as a high-throughput perimeter device. Multi-WAN load balancing, deep packet inspection, and site-to-site VPN tunnels all benefit from the i5-8500's six physical cores and AES-NI acceleration. The eight LAN ports let you create isolated zones for IoT, guest Wi-Fi, and management traffic without adding a separate switch. Because the appliance uses standard x86 hardware, you can install any compatible firewall distribution and keep full control over updates and features.
