How to use

Connect the hub's USB-C plug to a free USB-C 3.1 port on your laptop, tablet or compatible host device. Plug USB devices into the downstream USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 ports as required; use the USB 3.0 port for external storage or other high-bandwidth devices and USB 2.0 ports for keyboards, mice or printers. The host should recognise connected devices automatically without additional software. Safely eject storage devices from the host operating system before disconnecting to avoid data loss.

Recommendations

Use the USB 3.0 port for high-speed data transfers and the USB 2.0 ports for low-bandwidth peripherals. Avoid drawing excessive power from the hub by connecting multiple power-hungry devices at once; for high-power peripherals, use a host port that supplies adequate power or an externally powered hub if needed.
