ICY BOX IB-1122-U3 is an external drive enclosure designed to house 2.5" and 3.5" SATA HDDs or SSDs and connect them to a computer via USB. The enclosure converts a Serial ATA interface to USB 3.2 Gen 1 with a theoretical maximum transfer rate of 5 Gbit/s. The compact black housing (75×130×60 mm) is supplied with power and USB cables for immediate use with desktops and laptops, supporting portable access to stored data, backups and drive migration tasks.

Advantages

The enclosure offers straightforward installation with plug-and-play operation and supports both HDD and SSD drives in 2.5" and 3.5" formats. USB 3.2 Gen 1 connectivity provides high-speed transfer capability up to 5 Gbit/s when used with compatible hosts and media. The included power and USB cables and compact form factor make it suitable for desktop placement or transport between systems without additional accessories.

Suitable for

• Data backup and restore operations
• Disk cloning and system migration
• Temporary or portable access to internal drives
• Expanding external storage for desktops and laptops
