KF X-Fader Filtro ND Variável 43mm ND2-ND400 (1-8.6 Passos de Abertura) com Vidro Ótico AGC Japonês, Revestimento Múltiplo 28 Camadas, Impermeável, Aro de Alumínio Ultra Fino

Landscape photographers chasing silky waterfalls or streaking clouds in bright daylight will appreciate the KF X-Fader Variable ND Filter. Screw it onto any 43mm lens, rotate the ring from ND2 to ND400, and instantly cut light by 1 to 8.6 stops—no need to swap filters mid-shoot. The 28-layer multi-coated Japanese AGC optical glass preserves true-to-life colours while the ultra-slim aviation aluminum frame keeps vignetting at bay, even on wide-angle lenses. A front 46mm thread accepts your existing lens cap or additional filters.

Key specifications

• Filter type: Variable Neutral Density (ND2–ND400)
• Light reduction: 1 to 8.6 stops (optical density 0.3–2.6)
• Filter diameter: 43mm (fits lenses with 43mm filter thread)
• Front thread: 46mm (for lens cap or stacking filters)
• Glass: Japanese AGC optical glass with 28-layer multi-coating
• Coatings: Waterproof, oil-proof, anti-scratch
• Frame: Ultra-slim aviation aluminum alloy
• Rotation: Smooth, precise with stop marks for repeatable settings
• Colour shift: Minimal; designed to avoid affecting colour balance

Why choose it

Unlike fixed ND filters, the X-Fader gives you continuous control over exposure in one compact unit. The multi-coating repels water, oil, and scratches, so you can shoot near waterfalls or in drizzle without constantly cleaning the glass. The slim profile and 46mm front thread reduce the chance of vignetting on wide-angle lenses, while the marked rotation ring lets you return to a favourite density quickly.

Ideal use cases

• Long exposure photography: smooth water, light trails, cloud movement
• Portrait and wedding work: shoot wide open (f/1.4–f/2.8) in bright sun for shallow depth of field
• Video: maintain a 180-degree shutter angle in changing light without adjusting ISO or aperture
• Travel and landscape: one filter replaces a whole set of fixed NDs, saving space and weight

Good to know

The filter is compatible with any lens that has a 43mm filter thread. For best results, align the stop mark with your desired density and avoid extreme settings on ultra-wide lenses to minimise cross-polarization artefacts. The front 46mm thread accepts standard 46mm lens caps; a cap is not included.
