Place door/window sensors on frames and corresponding doors or windows, and mount motion sensors in rooms where movement detection is needed. Add the Ranger 2C camera to the app for video monitoring. Use the IMOU mobile app to register the gateway and devices, configure scenes linking camera and alarm actions, and set notification preferences. Use the ZB1 remote controls to arm or disarm locally and test the siren to confirm audible alerts.

Recommendations

For reliable detection and coverage, position motion sensors at 2–2.5 m height and avoid pointing them directly at windows or heat sources. Place door/window sensors on clean, flat surfaces and test each sensor after installation. Use the app to create scenes and notification rules that match your daily routines.
