KNIPEX 12 74 180 Alicate universal de descarnar para cabos redondos, de dados, coaxiais e planos, 180 mm

Stripping round cables, data cables, coax cables and flat cables often requires multiple tools and careful handling to avoid damaging inner conductors. The KNIPEX 12 74 180 solves this with a single universal stripping tool that combines circular cutting, longitudinal slitting and wire cutting in one ergonomic pistol-grip design.

Who is it for

Electricians, network installers and multimedia technicians who regularly work with domestic installation cables, CAT 5/6/7 data lines, coaxial cables and flat cables. Its slim conical ends reach into confined spaces such as junction boxes and patch panels.

Main features

• Strips round cables Ø 8.0–13.0 mm, including NYM 3×1.5 mm² to 5×2.5 mm²
• Handles data cables CAT 5, 6, 7 (UTP/STP) and coax RG 59, RG 6
• Strips wires from 0.2 to 4.0 mm² (AWG 24–12) and flat cables up to 12 mm wide
• Rotating inner blade enables both circular and longitudinal cuts without changing tools
• Integrated wire cutter for copper and aluminium conductors up to 4.0 mm²
• Blade made of hardened special tool steel; fibreglass-reinforced plastic body
• Ergonomic pistol grip with conical, slimmed tool ends for tight spaces

Tips

For clean longitudinal cuts on round cables, set the blade depth using the adjustment wheel and test on a scrap piece first. The rotating blade mechanism allows switching between circular and longitudinal cutting without repositioning the tool.
