Kodak Portra 160 4x5 (10 folhas) – filme negativo de cor para retrato ISO 160

Kodak Portra 160 4x5 (10 sheets) is a color negative portrait film in large-format sheet form, offered as a pack of ten sheets. With an ISO 160 speed and Kodak's Portra emulsion characteristics, this sheet film is aimed at photographers seeking natural skin tones, fine grain and wide exposure latitude for studio or location portrait work. The film produces color negatives well suited for scanning and traditional darkroom printing, delivering consistent results across varied lighting conditions.

Advantages

Kodak Portra 160 4x5 provides a balance of low grain and accurate, neutral-to-warm color rendering that preserves subtle tonal variations in skin and fabrics. The film's generous exposure latitude reduces the need for exact metering in mixed lighting, while its emulsion structure supports high-quality scans and enlargements. As sheet film, it allows individual frame control, reciprocity advantage for careful exposures, and straightforward processing in standard C-41 chemistry.

Suitable for

• Studio portrait photography with large-format cameras
• Location portrait sessions and controlled environmental shoots
• Fine art photography and large-format scanning for print
• Commercial and editorial portrait work requiring natural tones

Key specifications

• Format: 4x5 inch sheet film
• Quantity: 10 sheets per pack
• Film type: Color negative (portra emulsion)
• ISO sensitivity: 160
• Grain characteristics: Fine grain suitable for enlargements and scanning
• Processing: C-41 chemistry compatible

How to use

Load individual 4x5 sheets into film holders in subdued light or a changing bag to avoid exposure. Meter for the scene and select exposure settings appropriate for ISO 160; consider bracketed exposures when capturing a wide dynamic range. Expose each sheet in a large-format camera, then process using standard C-41 color negative development. After development, dry the negatives flat before scanning or making optical enlargements.

Recommendations

For best skin tone rendition and minimal grain, shoot at or near the rated ISO when practical. When working in mixed or high-contrast lighting, bracket by 1/3–1 EV or use fill lighting to preserve shadow detail. When scanning, use a professional film scanner or high-resolution drum/flatbed scanner and apply gentle color correction to maintain the natural look of Kodak Portra 160.
