Ligação de fibra ótica LC/LC fêmea/fêmea ShiverPeaks BS07-60014

The ShiverPeaks BS07-60014 LC/LC Female/Female fibre optic connector is a bulkhead-style adapter designed to provide stable optical connections between LC-terminated fibre cables. Supplied as a single unit, this connector joins two LC plugs across a panel or chassis opening, keeping alignment and low insertion loss in installations where space and precision matter. It is compatible with standard LC ceramic ferrules and fits typical patch panel cutouts for straightforward integration into networking equipment and enclosures.

Advantages

This bulkhead LC/LC female adapter offers precise ferrule alignment and consistent optical performance with minimal back reflection and low insertion loss. Constructed for panel mounting, it supports reliable mating cycles and reduces strain on cable terminations. The single-piece supply simplifies inventory management for small deployments or spare-part stocking while maintaining compatibility with widely used LC connectors.

Suitable for

• Connecting two LC-terminated multimode or singlemode patch cables through panels or chassis
• Use in patch panels, equipment racks, and fibre distribution frames
• Temporary or permanent fibre links in data centers, telecom cabinets, and lab racks

Key specifications

• Connector type: LC female to LC female (duplex)
• Mounting style: bulkhead / panel adapter
• Compatibility: standard LC ferrule geometry
• Material highlights: precision ceramic ferrule interface (typical for LC adapters)
• Pack quantity: 1 unit

How to use

Install the bulkhead adapter into the panel or chassis cutout designed for LC duplex adapters, ensuring it sits flush and secures according to the enclosure’s fastening method. Insert LC plugs from each side until a positive latch is felt, making sure the keyed orientation is correct to avoid misalignment. For best optical performance, inspect connectors and clean ferrules prior to mating using appropriate fibre cleaning tools. Avoid excessive bending of connected cables near the adapter to maintain specified bend radii.

Recommendations

Regularly inspect and clean both connector ends before each mating cycle to minimise insertion loss and back reflection. Use dust caps when the adapter is unused and follow equipment rack standards to prevent mechanical stress on the connector and attached fibres.
