The KWB 912515 sanding belt set includes three aluminium-oxide coated belts with a resin bond and a strong, elastic woven cotton backing. Compatible with a range of belt sanders, this 3-piece set is suitable for both DIY and professional applications where durable, even sanding is required.

Advantages

Aluminium oxide abrasive and resin bonding deliver long-lasting cutting performance and wear resistance. The strong woven cotton body provides flexibility and tear resistance while the special adhesive minimizes vibration and belt flutter for smoother operation and more consistent surface results.

How to use

Install the correct belt size on a compatible belt sander according to the sander manufacturer’s instructions. Ensure the belt is properly tensioned and aligned before switching on the tool. Use steady, even passes over the workpiece without excessive pressure to avoid premature wear; let the abrasive do the cutting. Regularly check the belt for wear or damage and replace when performance declines.

Recommendations

For best results, match the belt grit to the task (coarser grits for material removal, finer grits for smoothing) and work with the grain on wood. Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including eye and respiratory protection, and follow the sander manufacturer’s safety guidelines.
