Lixadora excêntrica Metabo FSX 200 Intec

The Metabo FSX 200 Intec Orbital sander combines a compact design with steady performance for sanding tasks on wood, composite and painted surfaces. It features a 240 W motor delivering up to 11,000 rpm and an oscillation rate of 9,500 OPM, with a 2.7 mm orbit diameter that produces a fine, even finish. The sander uses Velcro sanding disc attachment for quick abrasive changes and has a 125 mm sanding disc diameter while weighing approximately 1.3 kg, making it suitable for overhead and extended work sessions.

Advantages

The tool offers a balance of power and maneuverability: the 240 W motor and high idle speed enable efficient material removal while the small orbit diameter reduces swirl marks for smoother surfaces. Low weight and ergonomic design lower operator fatigue during prolonged use. The Velcro fastening system simplifies abrasive replacement and allows secure attachment of sanding discs. The compact pad diameter gives good access to smaller areas and edges.

Suitable for

• Sanding and finishing wooden furniture and panels
• Surface preparation prior to painting or varnishing
• Removing old coatings and light material removal on composites
• Detail sanding in tight spaces and on edges

Key specifications

• Motor power: 240 W
• Maximum idle speed: 11,000 rpm
• Oscillation rate: 9,500 OPM
• Orbit diameter: 2.7 mm
• Sanding disc diameter: 125 mm
• Weight: 1.3 kg

How to use

Attach a Velcro-backed sanding disc to the sanding pad, ensuring it is centered and secure. Hold the sander with a firm but relaxed grip, power it on and start sanding with light pressure, letting the tool's motion do the work. Move the sander evenly across the surface in overlapping strokes and avoid excessive pressure to prevent gouging. For best results, start with coarser grit for material removal and step down to finer grits for finishing. Clean dust from the work area regularly to maintain visibility and abrasive performance.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as eye protection and a dust mask. Match abrasive grit to the task: coarser grits for stock removal and finer grits for finishing. When working on painted surfaces, ensure adequate dust extraction or work in a well-ventilated area to reduce airborne particles. Allow the sander to reach operating speed before contacting the surface and replace worn abrasives to maintain consistent results.
