Cabo de rede EFB Elektronik EC020200229 RJ-45 Cat7 20 m laranja

The EFB Elektronik EC020200229 RJ-45 Cat7 20 m Orange networking cable is a shielded, high-bandwidth Ethernet cable designed for reliable wired connections over longer distances. With S/FTP shielding and gold-plated RJ-45 connectors, this Cat7 cable supports high-speed data transmission up to 10000 Mbit/s and reduces electromagnetic interference for stable network performance. The 20 m length and bright orange jacket make it suitable for backbone cabling, patching and visible installations where easy identification is required.

Advantages

S/FTP construction provides overall foil shielding plus individually shielded twisted pairs to minimise crosstalk and external interference. Gold-plated RJ-45 plugs improve contact reliability and resist corrosion for long-term use. The Cat7 specification supports higher frequencies and bandwidth compared with lower category cables, enabling gigabit and multi-gigabit applications. The durable orange PVC jacket offers physical protection and visual identification in crowded cable runs.

Suitable for

• High-speed Ethernet connections in offices and data rooms
• Patch panels and wall sockets requiring a 20 m run
• Structured cabling backbones and switch-to-switch links
• Environments where reduced EMI and clear cable identification are needed

Key specifications

• Cable category: Cat7
• Shielding: S/FTP (overall foil + individually shielded pairs)
• Connectors: RJ-45 to RJ-45, gold-plated contacts
• Length: 20 m
• Maximum data rate: up to 10000 Mbit/s
• Colour: Orange

How to use

Uncoil the cable carefully to avoid kinks and route it along the planned path, securing with cable ties or clips as needed. Plug one RJ-45 connector into the network device or switch and the other into the destination port, ensuring a firm click to confirm proper seating. Avoid sharp bends and excessive pulling forces near the connectors to maintain shielding integrity and performance. For permanent installations, follow local cabling standards and maintain appropriate separation from power lines to minimise interference.

Recommendations

For optimal performance, use this Cat7 cable in conjunction with compatible Cat6A/Cat7-grade patch panels and switches capable of multi-gigabit speeds; verify port speed settings and test the link with a network tester after installation to confirm throughput and signal quality.
