The Gardena Micro Drip Supply Pipe 4.6 mm (3/16") 1348-20 is a 50 m reel of black supply hose designed for micro drip irrigation systems. With a 4.6 mm internal diameter, this hose serves as the main supply line for drip heads and spray nozzles and is suitable for both above-ground and below-ground installation. The material is UV-resistant and impervious to light, ensuring long-term performance in outdoor conditions.

Advantages

The supply pipe is made to resist ultra-violet radiation and light penetration, which helps prevent material degradation and algae growth. Its 4.6 mm diameter matches standard micro drip fittings for easy connection to Gardena drip heads and spray nozzles. Supplied on a 50 m reel in a 4-colour display carton, the hose is convenient to store and lay out for garden irrigation layouts.

Connect the pipe to the water source or main distribution line using compatible fittings and secure connections to Gardena drip heads or spray nozzles. Lay the hose along the planned irrigation route; if burying, place at the desired depth and cover with soil. Test the system for leaks and proper flow before finalizing the installation.

Recommendations

Use fittings and connectors compatible with 4.6 mm (3/16") micro drip systems and avoid sharp bends or kinks in the hose. For buried installations, ensure the hose is properly protected from mechanical damage and follow local frost-protection guidelines to prevent freezing during cold periods.
