Tips

For best results, place food in the centre of the turntable and use microwave-safe containers. When defrosting, turn or stir food halfway through for even thawing. Clean the interior regularly with a damp cloth to prevent odours and maintain performance. Avoid running the microwave empty, as this can damage the magnetron. The mechanical timer can be set to less than 30 minutes by turning the knob past the desired time and then back – this ensures accurate short cooking times.
