Microconnect FIB841003 Cabo InfiniBand/fibra ótica 3 m SC LC amarelo

The Microconnect FIB841003 is a 3 m single mode fibre optic patch cable with SC and LC connectors, OS2 fibre type and a 9 µm core diameter. Designed for enterprise networks, telecom rooms, server farms and cloud storage networks, this yellow cable provides clear identification in structured cabling and supports high-speed Ethernet connections including 1G, 10G, 40G and 100G.

Advantages

This single mode patch cord uses OS2 fibre to ensure low attenuation over long distances and is manufactured with LSZH jacket material meeting common industry standards (IEC, EIA/TIA or Telcordia). It supports data transmission up to 10 km at 1310 nm and up to 40 km at 1550 nm, and the SC–LC connector combination offers compatibility with a wide range of network equipment.

Suitable for

• Enterprise network backbones and horizontal cabling
• Telecom rooms and data center interconnects
• Server farms and cloud storage networks
• High-speed Ethernet links (1G / 10G / 40G / 100G)

How to use

Inspect connectors and ensure ports are clean before installation. Plug the SC connector into the appropriate SC port and the LC connector into the corresponding LC port on the devices to be connected. Route the cable avoiding tight bends and mechanical stress; maintain minimum bend radius recommended for single mode fibre. Verify link status and perform optical testing if required to confirm signal levels and attenuation.

Recommendations

Store and handle the cable in a dust-free environment, use dust caps on unused connectors, and avoid sharp bends or excessive pulling force. For long links or critical installations, perform an optical loss test and follow data centre cabling best practices.
