Mochila Salewa Alp Trainer 35+3 Shadow/Dark Olive

The Salewa Alp Trainer 35+3 redefines alpine versatility by combining a streamlined 35-litre main compartment with an expandable +3-litre collar, all while maintaining a featherlight feel thanks to its 100D Nylon Honeycomb and Robic construction. Unlike conventional trekking packs that trap heat against your back, the DRY BACK AIR carrying system cuts body contact by 25% and channels airflow through a breathable mesh, keeping you cool on steep approaches. Integrated rain cover, twin ice axe/pole fastening, and a hydration sleeve make it equally at home on multi-day hut tours or fast-and-light summit pushes.

Highlights

• 35 + 3 litre capacity with top-loading and front access to main compartment
• DRY BACK AIR ventilation system reduces body contact by 25% for superior breathability
• 100D Nylon Honeycomb main fabric and 100D Nylon Robic bottom for durability without weight
• Integrated rain cover stored in a dedicated pocket
• Twin ice axe/pole attachment points for technical terrain
• Mesh side pockets, hip belt pockets, and compression straps for organised packing
• Hydration system compatible with internal sleeve and port

In daily use

Load the Alp Trainer 35+3 from the top or through the front panel, cinching the compression straps to stabilise partial loads. The adjustable chest strap and load lifter straps fine-tune the fit, while the padded hip belt with pockets keeps snacks and a compass within reach. When the weather turns, deploy the integrated rain cover in seconds. For alpine routes, secure your axes or poles using the twin fastening system and stash wet layers in the stretch mesh side pockets.
