Módulo keystone angular ShiverPeaks BS08-10042

The ShiverPeaks BS08-10042 angled keystone module in white provides a flush, angled USB A connection for wall plates and patch panels. Designed as a single-module insert, it accepts standard USB A plugs on both sides to create a short, stable extension point within structured cabling installations. The module is intended for mounting in keystone-compatible faceplates or brackets where a compact, right-angled USB A interface is required.

Advantages

This angled keystone module offers a compact footprint and a right-angled USB A connection to reduce strain on cables and connected devices. The white finish integrates with most faceplates and interior environments for a discreet appearance. Supplied individually, the module allows flexible replacement or expansion of existing installations without the need to change full plates or panels.

Suitable for

• Wall plate installations in offices, meeting rooms and home networks
• Patch panels and multimedia panels requiring a USB A feed
• AV cabinets and furniture cutouts where an angled connection improves accessibility
• Replacement or upgrade of single keystone ports in structured cabling

Key specifications

• Connector type: USB A to USB A
• Orientation: angled / right-angled module
• Colour: white
• Form factor: single keystone insert suitable for standard keystone openings
• Sold as: single unit

How to use

Insert the module into a compatible keystone faceplate or panel opening until it snaps into place. Connect a USB A plug to each side to create a secure, right-angled connection for data transfer or power delivery as supported by connected devices. When replacing an existing module, remove the old insert by pressing the retention tabs and pulling it out, then push the ShiverPeaks module into the same opening until it locks.

Recommendations

Ensure the faceplate or patch panel is compatible with standard keystone dimensions before installation. Avoid excessive bending of USB cables at the connector; the angled module reduces stress but should not be used as a cable strain relief. For reliable data transfer and device charging, use USB cables and equipment that meet the required specifications for your application.
