Mola de limpeza Rothenberger 7.2980E mola de limpeza de tubos, acessório para tubos

Cleaning spiral Rothenberger 7.2980E is a drain auger accessory engineered for clearing blockages in pipes and drains. The flexible steel spiral is designed to feed through narrow pipework to capture and extract hair, grease and debris. It is a compatible accessory for manual and powered reels used in household and light commercial plumbing, offering a mechanical alternative to chemical drain cleaners.

Advantages

The steel construction provides durability and resistance to kinking while maintaining sufficient flexibility to navigate bends in typical drain lines. Its surface finish reduces friction for smoother feeding and retrieval. As a mechanical cleaning tool, the spiral prevents the use of corrosive chemicals and reduces the risk of pipe damage when used correctly with appropriate reels and techniques.

Suitable for

• Clearing hair and soap residue from bathroom sinks, showers and bathtubs
• Removing grease and food debris from kitchen sink and drain traps
• Maintaining drains in small commercial premises or rental properties
• Use with compatible manual or powered drain reels for residential plumbing maintenance

Key specifications

• Material: flexible steel spiral designed for drain access
• Intended application: manual or machine-fed drain auger accessory for narrow pipes
• Function: mechanical debris extraction (hair, grease, sediment)
• Compatibility: suitable for use with standard drain reels and auger housings designed for accessory spirals

How to use

Insert the spiral into the drain opening and feed it gently while rotating the reel or handle to advance the cable into the pipe. When resistance is felt, continue slow rotation to engage and entangle the blockage, then withdraw the spiral while maintaining rotation to extract debris. For powered reels, follow the reel manufacturer's speed and torque guidelines. After use, rinse the spiral with water and dry before storage to minimise corrosion.

Recommendations

Use appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves and eye protection. Avoid excessive force or inappropriate angles that could overstress the spiral or damage pipework. Do not use the spiral in fragile or heavily corroded pipes without evaluating pipe condition first. Store the spiral dry and coiled to preserve its shape and performance.
