Supplied as a single piece, the cover plate creates a flush, neat finish for switches, sockets or communication modules in residential and commercial interiors.

The screwless design conceals fixing points for a clean appearance. How to use

Remove the existing cover plate if present, align the Busch-Jaeger 1746/10-84 over the installed module or insert so the 51×51 mm window matches the module face. Snap or secure the plate according to the module manufacturer’s mounting method until it sits flush with the wall. Ensure cables and connectors remain accessible through the window before final seating.

Recommendations

Use this cover plate with modules that follow Busch-Jaeger mounting dimensions or with telecommunication inserts using 50×50 mm cover plates (for example AMP, Brand-Rex, Rutenbeck, BTR, Telegärtner) to ensure correct fit. Verify module compatibility and orientation before installation to avoid forcing the plate into place.
