Ocular Beta Hyperion 21 mm 2 polegadas/1,25 polegadas (MPN 2454621) — tubo intercambiável

Beta Hyperion 21mm eyepiece with interchangeable 2"/1.25" barrel provides a 21 mm focal length optimized for visual astronomy. The eyepiece is designed to work with both 2-inch and 1.25-inch focuser openings, allowing quick adaptation between different telescopes and accessories. It is intended for observing planets, the Moon and many deep-sky objects while offering comfortable eye relief for extended viewing sessions.

Advantages

The eyepiece combines a moderate focal length with dual-barrel compatibility, reducing the need for separate eyepieces or adapters. Its optical design delivers a clear, contrasty image across the field of view and supports comfortable eye positioning for eyeglass wearers. The interchangeable barrel system simplifies swapping between instruments and accessories without tools.

Suitable for

• Planetary observation and lunar viewing
• Medium-power views of star clusters and brighter deep-sky objects
• Use with telescopes that accept 2" or 1.25" eyepieces
• Observers who need quick barrel changes between instruments

Key specifications

• Focal length: 21 mm
• Barrel compatibility: interchangeable 2" and 1.25"
• Designed for visual astronomy: planets, Moon, brighter DSOs
• Comfortable eye relief suitable for general viewing and eyeglass wearers
• Standard parfocal length for common telescope focusers

How to use

Insert the eyepiece into the telescope focuser in the chosen barrel size and secure it with the focuser's locking thumbscrews. If your telescope requires the alternate barrel size, remove the removable barrel section and replace it according to the eyepiece's interchange mechanism. Allow the telescope to reach thermal equilibrium and focus carefully using the focuser to obtain a sharp image. For best results, start with low to medium magnification and adjust as needed for target detail and seeing conditions.

Recommendations

Store the eyepiece in a padded case or protective pouch when not in use to prevent dust and mechanical damage. Clean lenses only with a soft brush or lens tissue and appropriate optical cleaner applied sparingly. Use the 2" barrel for wider-field viewing on compatible focusers and the 1.25" barrel for standard adapters or accessories.
