24 OM3 multimode fibers terminated with LC pigtails in a single 1U footprint — this Telegärtner BASIS eco panel delivers high-density 10G-ready connectivity without consuming precious rack space. The phosphor bronze alignment sleeves in all 12 LC duplex couplers ensure precise ferrule mating for low insertion loss and long-term stability.

Overview

The BASIS eco is a 19-inch fiber optic distribution panel occupying just 1 rack unit. It houses 12 LC duplex adapters (24 fibers total) with phosphor bronze sleeves, known for their durability and consistent optical performance. The panel comes pre-loaded with 24 pigtails: each is a 2-meter OM3 multimode fiber (50/125µm core/cladding) terminated with an LC connector on one end and left splice-ready (stripped and cleaved) on the other. The pigtails are color-coded for easy identification during splicing. The entire assembly is enclosed in a lightweight yet robust turquoise plastic housing, making it ideal for data centers, enterprise networks, and telecom rooms where space and budget are constrained.

What stands out

• High density: 24 fibers in 1U, maximizing rack utilization.
• OM3 multimode fiber supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet up to 300 meters, future-proofing your backbone.
• Phosphor bronze sleeves offer excellent wear resistance and alignment accuracy, reducing connector wear and signal degradation.
• Pre-installed 2m pigtails save installation time; just splice and go.
• Color-coded pigtails simplify polarity management and reduce human error.
• Turquoise housing is both aesthetic and functional, aiding quick identification in crowded racks.
