Pen USB Hama C-Laeta 16 GB USB Type-A / USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1 (3.1 Gen 1) prateado

The Hama C-Laeta USB flash drive offers 16 GB of removable storage in a compact silver aluminium housing and features both USB Type-C and USB Type-A connectors. Designed for devices with USB-C and legacy USB-A ports, the stick supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 (USB 3.1/3.0 compatible) for fast file transfers and allows direct recording and playback of Full HD video. A protective cap covers both connectors for secure transport.

Advantages

This dual-interface flash drive eliminates orientation issues with a reversible USB Type-C plug while remaining compatible with older USB-A ports. The USB 3.2 Gen 1 interface provides high-speed data transfer (manufacturer-stated read speeds up to 70 MB/s and write speeds up to 40 MB/s), and the robust metal casing offers durable protection for everyday use. The compact design and cap for both connections make it convenient to carry and use across multiple devices.

How to use

Remove the protective cap and insert the appropriate connector (USB Type-C or USB Type-A) into the device port. The reversible USB Type-C plug can be inserted in either orientation. The drive should be detected automatically by most modern operating systems; open the drive in your file manager to copy, move or play files. To record video directly to the drive, select it as the storage destination in the recording device's settings if that device supports external USB recording.

Recommendations

For reliable long-term performance, safely eject the flash drive from the operating system before removing it, avoid exposing the metal casing to strong impact or moisture, and keep the protective cap on the unused connector. For frequent large-file transfers, consider keeping a backup copy of important data on a second storage medium.
