How to use

Fill the 1.4 L water tank before switching the steam iron on, following the manufacturer’s water quality guidance. Set the temperature appropriate for the fabric type, allow the unit to reach operating temperature and use the continuous steam or the 350 g/min steam boost for heavy creases. For vertical steaming, hold the iron upright and apply short steam bursts to hanging garments. After use, empty remaining water if storing for an extended period and allow the ceramic soleplate to cool before putting the appliance away.

Recommendations

Use distilled or demineralized water where local water hardness is high to reduce scale buildup. Regularly descale and clean according to Philips maintenance instructions to preserve steam performance and the ceramic soleplate’s glide. For best results, sort garments by fabric type and temperature settings, and use the steam boost sparingly on delicate fabrics.
