TRENDnet TEG-10GECTX is a 10 Gigabit PCI Express network adapter that converts an available PCIe slot into a 10 Gigabit Ethernet port. How to use

Power off the computer and insert the TEG-10GECTX into an available PCIe 2.0 x4 (or larger) slot. Secure the card with the appropriate bracket (standard or low-profile) and restore power. Install drivers for your operating system if required, then connect a compatible Ethernet cable. Configure link speed, jumbo frame size and VLAN settings in the operating system or network management software as needed.

Recommendations

For optimal performance at 2.5 Gbps or 5 Gbps, use Cat 5e or better cable and keep cable runs within 100 meters. Use jumbo frames where supported by network devices to improve throughput for large transfers. Ensure you install the latest drivers from the manufacturer for compatibility with your OS.
