Porca rebite GESIPA M6 9×17 mm para 1,5–4,5 mm, cabeça escareada 90°

Blind rivet nut GESIPA M6 9×17 mm with a 90° countersunk head is a fastener designed to create a permanent internal M6 thread where access is available from only one side. The rivet nut's 9×17 mm body and 90° countersunk head allow it to sit flush in countersunk holes in sheet materials with thicknesses from 1.5 to 4.5 mm. Intended for use in metal and certain composite panels, this component is used in assembly, repair and fastening operations to form robust threaded connections without tapping.

Advantages

The GESIPA blind rivet nut provides a reliable, vibration-resistant M6 thread in thin sheets and panels, eliminating the need to access the rear side for nut installation. Its 90° countersunk head ensures a low-profile finish when installed in appropriately countersunk holes, and the specified body dimensions give consistent seating and pull-out resistance. Because it works across a range of sheet thicknesses (1.5–4.5 mm), it is versatile for multiple light- to medium-duty applications.

How to use

Drill or punch a hole sized to match the rivet nut outer dimensions and countersink the hole if a flush finish is required. Insert the blind rivet nut into the prepared hole with the countersunk head facing outward. Use a blind rivet nut tool or rivet nut setting tool designed for M6 nuts to pull the shank and form the blind bulge on the blind side until the nut is firmly clinched and the head sits flush. Verify the installed nut is secure and that the thread accepts an M6 fastener without play.

Recommendations

Ensure hole diameter and countersink geometry match the rivet nut dimensions and the sheet thickness falls within the 1.5–4.5 mm range. Use appropriate setting tools rated for M6 blind rivet nuts and follow tool manufacturer torque and stroke guidance. For coated or painted surfaces, take care to prevent damage during installation and consider corrosion protection appropriate for the application environment.
