Porca rebite GESIPA M8, cabeça escareada 90°, corpo 11×18,5 mm, para espessuras de chapa 1,5–4,5 mm

Blind rivet nut GESIPA M8 with a 90° countersunk head and a body size of 11×18.5 mm creates a permanent M8 internal thread in thin or difficult-to-access panels. Designed for sheet thicknesses from 1.5 to 4.5 mm, this rivet nut provides a flush, countersunk finish and wide bearing surface that improves load distribution. The component is intended for use where drilling and tapping from the opposite side is impossible or impractical, enabling reliable fastening of fixtures, brackets and panels in metal and composite materials.

Advantages

The countersunk 90° head gives a neat, flush appearance and prevents protrusion above the panel surface. The 11×18.5 mm body provides a stable anchor and even stress distribution around the M8 thread. Suitable for thin sheets and assemblies with limited access, this blind rivet nut simplifies installation by eliminating the need to access the component from the rear. Its design supports consistent clamping force and repeatable M8 thread quality in a variety of substrate materials.

Key specifications

How to use

Drill a hole in the panel to the appropriate diameter for the 11×18.5 mm body, insert the blind rivet nut from the accessible side, and use a compatible setting tool to deform the blind end and form a secure bulge behind the panel. Apply steady pressure until the rivet nut seats fully and the countersunk head sits flush with the panel surface. After installation, test the M8 thread by screwing in the mating bolt or fastener to verify engagement and clamping capability.

Recommendations

For reliable performance, select the correct drill diameter and confirm panel thickness is within 1.5–4.5 mm. Use a setting tool rated for M8 blind rivet nuts and ensure the mating fastener matches M8 specifications. For coated or painted panels, consider corrosion protection measures appropriate to the environment and materials used.
