Made from durable plastic, it offers strain relief and protects cable entries against dirt and moisture while being suitable for use in automation and machinery environments.

Advantages

The integrated seal delivers IP68-level protection against dust and water, improving the longevity of cable connections. Its robust plastic construction resists environmental contaminants and provides reliable strain relief. Supplied as a two-piece set, it is convenient for installations requiring multiple sealed feed-throughs.

Suitable for

• Sealed cable entry for control cabinets and enclosures
• Feed-throughs for automation and machine systems
• Routing multiple round cables or small electrical tubes

How to use

Drill or prepare an appropriate hole in the enclosure to match the gland dimensions, insert the cable gland and route up to three round cables or small conduits through the opening. Tighten the gland according to the enclosure and cable diameter so the integrated seal compresses and forms a watertight barrier. Ensure strain relief is achieved by securing cables as required and checking the seal after installation.

Recommendations

Check compatibility of cable diameters with the gland before installation and verify the enclosure cut-out size. Inspect the seal periodically and replace the gland if the plastic shows signs of wear or deformation to maintain IP68 protection.
